FAQ
1. How to confirm the quality before place an order?
A: We can send the exist samples to clients for checking the quality or clients can place a sample order of their own designs before start mass production.
2. What is tinplate? Are printing tins safe for food?
A: Tinplate is thin steel sheet with a coating of tin applied by electrolytic deposition. When making tin boxes, a food grade lacquer is coated on the surface of the tin to prevent corrosion and interaction between tin and food, making it suitable for food storage. As tinplate is a high-quality and safe packaging material, tin boxes are widely used for food packaging such as cookies, candies, chocolates, coffee, etc.
3. How do you print on the tin boxes? Is it screened or offset printed?
A: Tin box printing is an offset printing process using CMYK or PANTONE colors. First print on large pieces of tinplate, and then cut into small pieces to make tin boxes of different shapes and sizes based on different molds.
4. How should I design on a particular tin box?
A: Before designing any graphics on a particular tin, we will provide you with a dimension layout (die line) for positioning graphics. You can correctly place the artwork on the tin based on this positioning info.
5. What artwork file format is acceptable?
A: The best format is CDR or AI. PDF and PSD are also welcome. The resolution should be no less than 300 dpi.
